How do I import my collection into Cycle & Dredge?

Please read this article article thoroughly. You will need to prepare a CSV file to import your library into Cycle & Dredge.

First, start by creating a CSV file with your current collection. Many apps will let you download a CSV file containing your collection. You will need to use that export file to create a new CSV file to import your library into Cycle and Dredge.

The CSV file for Cycle & Dredge should contain four columns: Quantity of cards, Card Name, Set Code, And whether that card is a foil card.

For example:

You can download the CSV template file from above or create a new file.

If you are using Microsoft Excel to create a new file, ensure that you use the ‘Save As’ option and select CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.csv) option. Excel has multiple CSV options in its save list, but make sure to choose that specific option.

Preparing your CSV file should be as easy as copying and pasting that column of data from your exported CSV file into the template file above.

After your CSV file has been prepared, press the Menu button in the top right corner of the app screen and choose App Settings.

Then in the App Settings screen, choose Import Library. Then press the Select File button to choose the CSV file you prepared to import your collection with. Then press the Submit CSV File button.

After the CSV file has been imported, you will be given the option to download a log file. This log file will contain any potential error with suggested fixes as well as how many cards were imported succesfully.

We highly recommending downloading and reading this log file to ensure that your collection was imported properly. If that log file contains any errors, it may be better to create a new CSV file with the entries that had errors, or add those cards by hand using the Add Card option under Library Tools on the Library and Deck Builder page. Importing the same CSV file again could result in adding additional copies of cards that already imported properly.
